Banana Nut Loaf

With or without nuts, this recipe feels like home. Try it warmed in a frying pan with butter!

Banana Nut Loaf

Ingredients:
12 eggs
3 cups butter
6 cups sugar
18 mashed bananas
1 1/2 cup buttermilk
12 cups of cake flour
4 Tbs baking soda
3 tsp salt
4 cups chopped walnuts

Technique:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.


Cream together eggs, butter and sugar.
Add mashed bananas and buttermilk to the mixture.
Sift flour, baking soda and salt together and add to the mixture.

Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 20 minutes.

Separate evenly between 2 loaf pans.
