Cinnamon Apple Filling

This simple yet versatile recipe creates incredible cinnamon apple filling that we add to our fresh croissants, apple pies, vanilla ice cream and oatmeal to name a few items. Cozy and warm all year long.

Cinnamon Apple Filling

Ingredients:
3 T Butter
4 Green Apples
1 Cup of lemonade
3/4 Cups Cinnamon Sugar
4 Croissants


Cinnamon Sugar Ingredients:
2 Cups Sugar
1/2 Cup Flour
2 T Cinnamon

Mix all ingredients

Technique:
In a heavy skillet, cast iron if possible, cook apples in butter until they start to brown.  Add 1 cup of lemonade. Mix in Cinnamon Sugar until thickens. Add apple mixture to croissants, oatmeal, vanilla ice cream or anything else you like.  Best served warm.
